Former Houston Oiler

Patrick "Doc" Allen is a former All Pro Houston Oiler.  Along with Steve Brown, he formed one of the longest running cornerback combinations in the NFL House of Pain era.

For four consecutive years, from the 1986 through the 1989 season, he led the team in pass defense and in 1987 was named "Professional Athlete of the Year" by Special Olympics.

He still finds time to coach young children, sharing the benefit of his knowledge and experience with the community, and for this and other acts of kindness he was awarded the "Positive Influential African American Male" award in 1996.
